Using a LiDar dataset, a viewshed analysis was done for BYU campus. Nine observation points were placed on rooftops for various buildings. Target polygons were assigned to the ground. A Python script was written to use the 3D Analyst tools of Interpolate Shape, Line of Sight, and Intervisibility sequentially. This model shows any unobstructed lines of sight from the observation points to the target areas.

The observation points were then used for a second model that determines the viewshed for each point. The results of the two models were compared.
